YJ: Light and Science

Young Justice Rogues again. I’m running out of the old school Rogues… I don’t know who I’m going to do next… But I LIKE DOING THESE. *headdesk*

Jeeze you have no idea how much Roy G. Bivolio annoyed me. He as a character is just hilarious to me. I mean look at his NAME. As and artist, I smile every time I see it. When I see his original costume on the other hand… Well… I laugh too but mostly because he looks like a even bigger dork than he already is. So coming up with his design for Young Justice wasn’t exactly easy. The only other costume he had before he died in the comics was a trench coat and honestly I think Digger would beat his ass if he tried to pull of that look. Tried so many things until I played a bit and like this. Sleeked but still very colorful. Not much else to say for Roy.

While coming up with Roy’s design was a pain in the ass, I already had a good mental image for Albert Desmond aka Doctor Alchemy’s design. Shifted the cape over a bit and gave him a large side bag where he could hold papers and books. Cover his hands with gloves because when the Philosophers’ Stone can turn anything in to a corrosive acid its better to be safe than sorry. I also figured he was a lefty (no real explanation there) so everything is shifted to his dominant hand.
